Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Nomad Life (the "Platform"). By signing up or using the Platform you agree to these Terms in full. The Platform is operated under Swedish law.
1. Who we are
Nomad Life is a small community platform for individuals living as nomads or searching for a place to settle. Administrative contact: admin@nomadlife.top.
2. What the Platform is for
A members-only space for: a personal nomad profile, a discussion forum, direct messaging between members, a community ads board (seeking-to-join ads and construction sales only), and a monthly newsletter. The Platform is not a marketplace for short-term rentals, house-sitting, pet-sitting, or unpaid-labour solicitations.
3. Account & profile
You must be at least 18. You agree to provide accurate information, use your legal name on your profile, and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & payments
Two plans are offered: 3 months and 12 months. The 12-month plan includes three months free. Prices are shown on the Membership page and are charged once, up-front, in EUR (excluding VAT — applicable VAT is added at checkout via Stripe Tax). Payments are processed by Stripe — by subscribing you also accept Stripe's terms and privacy notice. We do not store card data.
Memberships do not auto-renew. They simply expire at the end of the paid period; you may then choose to subscribe again. We do not refund partial periods unless required by law.
5. Newsletter inclusions
Each member receives one free inclusion in the monthly newsletter after joining. Additional inclusions may be available for a small fee (announced separately). We may edit submissions lightly for length and clarity, and may decline anything that violates these Terms.
6. Community ads — what is allowed
- Seeking to join a project, intentional community, build, or land-search effort — allowed.
- Construction sales — finished or in-progress projects — allowed, and must include price, location, and permit status.
- Not allowed: house-sitting, pet-sitting, unpaid-labour requests, or volunteer/wwoof-style ads.
7. Conduct
No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, impersonation, spam, off-platform solicitation to avoid fees, or attempts to access data not intended for you. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Liability
Nomad Life is an intermediary. We do not vet projects, properties, or claims made by members. The Platform is provided "as is". We are not liable for transactions between members, property issues, travel decisions, or any loss arising from interactions facilitated through the Platform. Our aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
9. Termination
Either party may end the relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Changes
Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
